Frequently asked questions
When you say two photographers, who do you shoot with?
When I coordinate with you for your big day, I reach out to my personal photographer, who has shot weddings with me as my 2nd for several years now and make sure she has your date available. If she doesn't, I have a wonderful community of photographer friends I reach out to.
How do you handle travel for weddings?
When we do a consultation we can discuss the distance from my location to your wedding. For most locations within an hour, I waive any kind of travel fees, but for longer distances I use the IRS travel fee at the time of our signing.
Do you process photos in color and black and white?
I do! For smaller sessions, I prioritize color but on occasion I'll process a gallery with a good blend of both. If black and white is something you'd like me to prioritize, be sure to let me know! Some shots just were meant to be black and white in my opinion.
What is your approach to posing and capturing candid moments?
This is a great question! I live for the candids! I want to be like a fly on the wall capturing all the moments that will really help you relive your special day, but at the same time, I understand that family that has flown in from out of state or older members of the family are all together and we need a good "posed shot!" I would say that my approach is primarily candid during the wedding but I go down the list of pairings after the ceremony to get all the posed shots you'd like.
