Oh HEY!
I'm Kim!
I found my way to photography as a kid initially, taking my film camera on family vacations, sleepovers with friends, and it grew up with me. From backpacking with my now husband and our pup, the purchase of each new home, or each new addition to our family...
documenting those years of life felt natural and has always been a creative outlet of mine.
My focus for photos has shifted over the years, and with becoming a mother, documenting the seasons and milestones of my own kiddos, became a way to hold onto moments in time a little longer.
Family photography is more than just pictures—it’s a way of holding on to the little moments that slip by too quickly. Kids grow, seasons change, and life moves fast, but photographs keep those memories close. They tell the story of who we are together—our laughter, our love, even the in-between moments that make life real. Looking back on family photos years from now becomes a reminder of how meaningful today truly was.
Motherhood has deeply changed how I see the world through my camera. I’ve learned to notice the quiet, fleeting moments—the tiny fingers curling around mine, the sleepy sighs, the bursts of laughter in the middle of chaos. These are the moments that matter most, the ones that tell the real story of a family.
Experiencing it myself has given me patience, empathy, and a keen eye for connection, and I strive to capture that same authenticity for the families I photograph—honestly, tenderly, and uninterrupted.
